Day 545: Details. Almost finished.

I need to get faster at the sketch -> lineart -> rough colors process, since details take the longest. I should be less invested in clean lineart, but there's just something really satisfying about doing a complete line drawing.

Day 544: It doesn't look like I did anything, but I did. Not sure how long it'll take to finish, but it's getting there. Still feels like I need a different approach to color/process to get the kind of look(s) I really like/want.

Day 543: Some progress. The stomach rendering looks good, but idk if it's quite the effect I'm looking for. I might re-do it after sleeping on it.

Day 542: I don't actually hate the way these flat colors look. Maybe it's because it's easier to match/choose colors with bare skin? Maybe having a rough background made it easier to see color relationships?

In any case, I still wish i could draw/color faster 😮‍💨

Day 530: No drawing since I'm wiped out today. Instead, here's a look-back at the digital art journey.

It's nice that I don't hate the old drawing, but on the other hand it also feels like I haven't made as much progress as I could have.

Day 529: It's taking a long time to identify the colors, but at least some of them are close. Proportions and stuff are absolutely fucked though lmao. I guess a weird structure like this is still a bit much for now.

Day 525: More tiny details. Maybe I'll finish tomorrow?

Day 524: dying, both mentally and physically. Still think I need a simpler/more refined process.

Day 523: Coloring continues to be my nightmare, even as I add details and stuff over top. I should try to do some quicker colored sketches to get a better feel/idea for coloring.
