Agnes and Adele came to tell Nezumi Otoko that Kitaro is at the Land of Unbeing, and they try their best to bring him back.

Nezumi Otoko, being a best friend of Kitaro, just feels really relieved that he's still alive.

However, even though the youkai knows that Backbeard will explode and destroy everything, he insists on keep fighting for the sake of "pride". Nezumi Otoko tries convincing him not to fall into Nurarihyon's trick, but he doesn't seem to mind anymore.

And he disappears, again.

Meanwhile, in the Land of Unbeing, Mana calls out Kitaro's name, but no response.

A shadowy figure stands behind her, a figure that looks like Kitaro. However, as she approaches him, he disappears.

The situation is as chaotic and hopeless as the previous episode.

People involved in this mess start to become sick of this war.
