It's #mermay2022 so I feel like I should share these Castle Swimmer fan arts from a couple years ago! I just think they're neat.

I just started using the CSP 3D models, but if you have CSP I would recommend trying them out. It did take me awhile to get the hang of it, but I enjoy it. I still have trouble using them gracefully. Here is some art I made w/ them, and my first two trials:

There are a lot of people making photo refs. One of my favorites is @AdorkaStock! You can become a patron, buy ref packs, or browse the free gallery on deviantart! Or do all three! Here are just a few things I've drawn referencing AdorkaStock poses:

There are a lot of things I don't need to look up, but I still do occasionally to refresh my memory or refine how I draw that thing or maybe try a new approach. For instance, flowers.
