I'm kinda surprised it's written as 大吉(Extreme good luck) & 大凶(Extremely bad luck)?

I thought it should be 上上签& 下下签?🤣 To me, 大吉/大凶 is used in Japanese fortune telling. Or maybe now they used it too in Chinese fortune telling~
