Next to Ren is Sanshoku dango 🍡 (three-colored dumplings) which is a food from the ancient times that represent growing cherry blossoms.
Pink = cherry blossom buds
White = cherry blossoms in full bloom
Green = leaves after the cherry blossoms have fallen.
Ren's cup of tea has a tea pillar standing on it and in Japan, a tea pillar is a sign of good luck.✨
This year is the year of the rabbit in the Japanese zodiac, and to pay homage to this special year, Hikari is holding a “wagashi” (traditional Japanese confection) that is in the shape of a snow hare. 🐇
Fuyuko is dressed in kimono, a traditional Japanese clothing with a "haori” (jacket). This kimono is called "tsukesage," which can be used for short outings and casual occasions. Since cherry blossoms are the national flower of Japan, this pattern can be worn all year round!🌸
On the outside of the Kissaten is a beautiful curtain that has the @ikigaiteashop crest and the words "ikigai jaya” (ikigai teahouse) written on the side. ikigai is best described as something that gives a person a sense of purpose or a reason for living. Azuki is my ikigai ⛩️
The Kissaten is designed to look like a traditional teahouse commonly found in the countryside. The addition of Skaura Trees and a Waterwheel makes for a calm and peaceful atmosphere… the wind rustling through the leaves, birds chirping, and water flowing… 🌸😌
