(3/7) Pleasure is present again, as a tongue & finger sandwich and fingers smokes.
And "foreign words that are ours" represented as a book with a straw: as a Spanish speaker, I've made other languages mine; not only with my own words, but words that people have said to me.
(5/7)There are some elements that you can find in some of my works; like teeth (childhood) and fingers (pleasure).
But there is also another element I love: Petrichor. It's hard to represent a smell, that's why I capture petrichor on the worms that come out during the rain.
(3/7) As in Watanabe's poem, the frog represents the heart that has left the body of a person. This is an artwork about someone who is dying.
(6/7) There are also some metaphors that are not described in words, such as tongues and fingers. They represent pleasure and intimacy.
I could explain some other elements, but I love when people create their own stories based on my art.
