Tried to redraw my first stsg sketch good lord

My main character goes from living in the middle of cold city for majority of his life to constantly being in the sun
And it's my favourite detail how he goes from being really pale to really tanned and his hair loses several shades because it makes him look /alive/

I have no idea how my artstyle works because it's literally just the same lines/features/faces/characters yet in the first picture there are clearly teens and in the second there are adults
