I spoke with Salajin on this the other day, but one thing that really helped me improve at analyzing characters is making my own. The process of learning design, concept, backstory, development, and pacing really makes you recognize and appreciate it when you see it elsewhere.

Side note, base Xeno Vegeta doesn’t have a tail, yet SSJ4 Xeno Vegeta does, so at least within Heroes, you don’t need a tail in base to tap into SSJ4, given you’ve achieved SSJ4 prior.

Super Saiyan Blue, especially from its debut in the movie, art from Toriyama, and displays in the manga, has a distinct hairstyle from Super Saiyan.

It was never meant to have the same hairstyle. It’s not a recolor, get this through your heads, people.
