For the record, I was coloring with a filter that makes everything monochrome AND reversed, so this is what I saw during most of the process

For starters I picked @skimletDraws's wonderful lineart, picked a random palette, and set a b&w filter for that extra random effect. I kinda like it :o

Tried that one tiktok challenge where you put a b&w filter on your screen and work with a random palette. It was fun, I forget how weird hues and values are!
(And for the record, I did work fully in b&w all the way through, the first pic is just to showcase the difference)
