I'm working with some watercolors, featuring @caffeinelapin's character Mary.
Not quite what I envisioned, but it's been going okay so far (mostly). Hopefully I don't mess it up.

@redwallwiki I know it brings to mind Christopher Denise's depictions of the Abbey in the storybooks. Maybe he used it as a reference?

If anyone wants a good example of a strong female protagonist, look no further than Mrs. Hudson from Sherlock Hound. An experienced aviator, sharpshooter, and driver as well as caring and polite, even to her enemies.
