This past week I worked on designs for two party members - the technomage Vexi and the seer Casey. (the MC Nia + Vexi's mech included for scale)
Next week, my goal is to finish up the standing sprites for Nia in 8 directions. I have v limited time to spend on this, so we'll see. https://t.co/CiGzzc0NOo
Still need to fix the brim of the East sprite's hat, so it doesn't remain static regardless of angle à la Mickey Mouse's ears
But I'm pretty happy with the South East sprite for now
@vampiire_bat bc you can't recognize it as well on a small, low-res 3DS screen if you don't exaggerate it. you see this in character design a lot too, where more realistic proportions don't read as well on lower resolutions - Persona Q is a very clear example of this
I wanted a new avatar with my own art, but I'm too attached to that Jun at this point, so
She's a witch who lives in a little mage town in a valley called The Cauldron, together with her mom and her rat familiar Brie :)
This is my original character Nia. Her backstory and lore is that she's a good girl who does her best :) https://t.co/H5xUiiSceA
I distinctly remember at least starting some pixel art of LeChuck in his zombie form around the time I made that Guybrush, but I can't find it... Guess that one's lost to time.
Here's an unfinished, armless Godot from Ace Attorney though, also 2012.
