I actually love the setup of this - Horizon's understanding of the events that transpired while she was gone are so fragmented and her potentially believing that Ash is Lilian instead of Reid is a great setup for the reveal later on (Since I'm still pretty sure it's Reid...)
Paladins' newest champion is a canon gay girlboss and I absolutely adore both her and her fashion sense 😭💖
...but as she shatters that reflection, feels ready to step out of where she was frozen in time as a child... it's revealed just how unstable the room is and ice begins to fall down on her. She embraced hope, she found love, but as far as she knows, that love was not mutual.
Regrettable choices made even worse knowing that your shadow is waiting in the wings to punish you for the desperate jump at happiness.
That acceptance of perceived truth, taking reality at face value... it leads down paths that can feel wrong or twisted. Loba's ultimate desire to find love, to feel like she has a place in someone's heart, that she matters... it clouds her judgement. Leads to regrettable choices.
Caustic turning to the simulacrum program as some last resort for extending his life beyond an early grave is a pretty dark but cool turn of events. It also makes sense as a path he'd look into based on his knowledge of simulacrums we learnt about in Broken Ghost.
The vines are just full on tentacle monster in canon if you get close enough, I love it so much ajdghfkjsg
I know they wouldn't do it, but I'm just imagining how terrifying it'd be if they acted like this in-game too
IM SO EMOTIONAL OVER THISS 😭
From their very first comic together, Mirage and Rampart have had that perfect sibling dynamic and to see Mirage FINALLY put two and two together - that Ramya fills a sibling sized hole he's had since losing his brothers - is making me so happy WAAA
The lighting on this Bangalore banner holyyyy 😳
Maybe the first time I've been lured away from the dragon one. It's just so PRETTY.
