I like the weird mutant Cyber-Shredder design, it reminds me of the mutant Shredder clones from an earlier season. Sadly, it's not to last, because the turtles have their cyber-dart guns and give him a Resident Evil end boss finish. 17/19

But this activates Cyber-Shredder's security, so he spawns in some Internet ninjas, but Mikey is able to fend them off with video game special moves because it's the Internet.

This may be the thing that makes the most sense out of this whole episode. 14/19

But Mikey and Don are on their way to stop the cyber-portal in their Cyber-Rippers and Cybernaut outfits! They arrive, but Donatello is having trouble with its "outer matrix" and accessing its "multi-phasic core".

So he digitizes his head and hands to access it directly! 12/19

They uncover a digital chipmunk that's otherwise a normal and Donatello realizes that the Cyber-Shredder has perfected his cyber-portal. They have to stop him, because the cyber-dart guns won't work on a perfected output because look they just *don't*. 9/19

So he copies his henchman digitally as a final test. This digital duplicate has a moment to try and ask "Am I... real?" before the real henchman murders him with a poison dart.

Success! The Cyber-Shredder can how un-cyber himself. But the Turtles are on to him. 8/19

But it's okay! Donatello has a device that can track cyber-signatures, and he's also developed dart guns during the commercial break that converts the mutant digital animals back into "harmless digital information" by... well, don't worry how it does it, the show doesn't. 6/19

It turns out digital monsters are wreaking havoc throughout the city! See, the Cyber Shredder is just spawning mutants from .jpgs into the middle of Foot HQ, and it turns out ninjas are really bad at animal control.

I really do like this one-off mutant digi-turtle, tho. 5/19

Keep in mind the cyber-portal exists *entirely* on the internet. It has no real-world output mechanism, he just built it digitally and can create monster animals in the real world now because. 3/19

The Cyber Shredder, a backup of an octopus alien that pretended to be the Shredder, is 3D printing out animals using a cyber-portal he built on the internet from .jpgs, but they keep getting corrupted.

For example, this .jpg of a cute mouse produces a monster mouse. 2/19

@jimmytcannon @Jewthulhu It is if you can just let the bizarre orientalism just wash over you, every time they visit Japan it's this fantasy realm completely disconnected from reality.

But yeah, I'm not sure you can look at these character designs and not think they're surplus fighting game characters.
