This monstrous house was inspired by watching both movies "Monster House" and "The Haunted Mansion" in one day (Haunted Mansion's movie is AWFUL aside from the beautiful mansion's scenery), as well as this Haunted House I drew for my first Drawlloween! 🎃

Here’s some concept stuff for you 💖 A sketch of the layout (so many details!), of the Kitsune (who I designed before my Pumpkin Patch pic!), and my take on Amabie that I drew at the beginning of the Pandemic!

Some things that inspired this were the anime Kaidan Restaurant, Yo-Kai Watch (we've been watching Shadowside), and Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni! Also, Nine-Tails Vale from Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies!

Here's my take on Week 3's #Drawlloween Ghost Town! Yokai aren't all ghosts, but I thought it would be fun to draw a town full of them - it looks like a festival is going on! 👻✨ What's your favorite yokai?
