Persona 3 artwork appreciation post. Shigenori Soejima's work has always been excellent.
Just reminding you all to play Triangle Strategy https://t.co/VKt6YbiaeI
We need more story-driven turn-based RPGs, they're so damn relaxing to play and we honestly just don't get enough of them anymore.
Though to be fair when we do they seem to be some of the best the genre has had to offer in a long time so at least there's that.
Since it's 2/2/22 I figured why not namedrop a few of my favorite numbered 2 game sequels
I still wish Sega would've given us a fully-fledged 32-bit 3D Sonic the Hedgehog game. Getting just an idea of what it could've been like thanks to Sonic Jam was one of the best parts of that compilation. Look how awesome he looks.
I wouldn't mind seeing a full remake of Final Fantasy VII Before Crisis. Given how much Square Enix has banked on FFVII the idea of a whole game based around the Turks is absolute money. Imagine it going from mobile only 2D sprites to 3D using the FFVII Remake engine no less.
Ever since seeing his artwork with SNK way back in the day Toshiaki Mori has been one of my all-time favorite video game artists out there ever since.
Always been a fan of how he draws eyes, they're very intense and distinct looking.
