Then I realized I felt this way about every Stop N Swop place in Banjo-Kazooie. Once you get the items once on your cartridge, they're gotten for good and these areas just become these magic, triumphant... empty spaces. They echo with their prior mystery.
@awemblin I was looking at old comics and this cat painting still makes me like, cry laughing
Since I just finished my pirate children, here's a throwback to when they were background characters who had no names and little thought put into them, 7-8 years ago. With their recent fortune, they're able to express themselves better these days. https://t.co/PV5rIvmwQJ
Finally, it's Cinder! The only one who hasn't changed her appearance since getting rich; she just doesn't like clothes or jewelry. She's bought some new knives though.
Btw, Louis (the human) is a pretty average-sized 18 year old, if you want an idea of how tall salamandrians are.
We're joined next by Wings, so named for her unusual split crest. Goldgills' first mate and closest confidant, she is also slightly older than him, making her the crew's most senior. She long ago lost an eye, one of the few things a salamandrian can't grow back.
Joining Bones, I present to you one precious boy, Louis. The crew's youngest, he doesn't have a set role on the ship and is still largely learning from the others. He's taken to their newfound wealth with great enthusiasm.
Making some personal references for the cast of my new comic. Might as well post them as I go!
This is Bones, whose earrings will definitely not get annoying to draw. He's the crew's only magic-user and the ship's bosun and carpenter, making sure the Tailfin stays in good shape.
