Figured this was a good way to finish of the year and the decade! The first one was done at the end of my senior year of high school/when I started college. Can’t believe that was 10 years ago already!

Spirited Away is one of my favorite movies, and the second studio Ghibli film I saw after My Neighbor Totoro. So I figured this was the perfect chance to draw Haku and Chihiro.

Let me tell you, it took me WAY too long to ink all of those triangles. Would it have been easier to just use a white pen? Probably. But I kinda like the look of it. There’s something interesting about the imperfections

As we learn and grow, we’re being built into the people we were meant to be. There may be a couple extra notches taken out along the way that weren’t originally part of the plan, but that just adds to the beauty of it all.
