Aran, age 16, alone and grumpy after Tao had to move away
vs. Aran, age 20, with Tao now back in town

In 2019 I drew teen Aran on the subway. My first full scene drawing of him.
Tao just had moved away and left town and Aran stayed back grumpy and frustrated.

This pic now is some kind of prequel and where he went to after he left the subway.
A record store felt like a good fit!
