@MegaWaffle I know a couple of fellows who'd take issue with that statement. (Admittedly they're half-orcs, the other half of their parentage being a rather squat pigman mechanic named Bernard, but still.)

Well, this is what those sketches were building towards: A big ol' brawl between DK and the King of the Koopas, with the pugnacious ape dodging a punch from the lumbering lizard and landing him a collosal thump to the belly in return. Enjoy! #BoxingGorillaDay

And here, also by @SuperCrazyHyena, we have a scene from Chimp's battle with Apeman, in which the ill-tempered green goon decides to fight dirty and sends his opponent flying with an illegal foot-fisted hammer blow to the midsection. OOF! #BoxingGorillaDay

That said, the big ape doesn't always have things go his way. He may be in possession of an impressively long reach, but there's always going to be that one rival whose arm span exceeds yours...#BoxingGorillaDay

Of course, being Gaylord's actual opponent is no picnic. Having a good dental plan in place is pretty much essential. #BoxingGorillaDay

Gaylord maintains a pretty vigorous training regimen to keep his pugilistic skills at peak levels, which is bad news for his opponents, and also for anybody else who happens to be in the vicinity. #BoxingGorillaDay

Of course, it wouldn't be Boxing Gorilla Day if we didn't get to enjoy some of Gaylord's pugnacious antics in his comic of origin, namely Boes (AKA Ox Tales), so here's the first of several splendid strips drawn, as ever, by toony maestro Wil Raymakers. #BoxingGorillaDay
