Our collaborative issue with @DeitchProjects was a personal milestone for me. The magazine was named after a Barry Mcgee quote & I interned at Deitch. That issue was also the last one I personally designed. Moving forward I only did art direction & we hired an in-house designer.

It was a point of pride for us to have artists often created custom covers. The Jesse LeDoux cover was always a favorite.

I published B/D while i got my undergrad degree from @mica and my masters from @UCLA . Both degrees were for painting. It was a hectic schedule but i was in my early twenties and didn’t value sleep. We worked with many emerging/well known artists around the world.
