It's absolutely wild to me that the anime community is praising the hell out of Bocchi the Rock but be sleeping on literally the entire genre of Slice-of Life / CGDCT anime T_T

I love me a dumb disaster child like her. I love her shenanigans and failed ploys to "saving the world". And she really does deliver on the daughter dynamic for Loid and Yor. Plus the legendary meme faces.

1. Haizakura (Prima Doll)
She's trying her best in life, which is all anyone can ask for. Every time I see her in the OP, I tear up inside. Fantastic arc, endearing presence and influence, adorable design, even in the heavy competition, she easily is my favorite girl of this year

7. Yaeka (Yakuza Babysitter)
Another addition to the "best daughters who need to be protected" list. For a kid her age, she is pretty calm and polite, which adds more to her lovability factor. Despite being surrounded by yakuza, she's such a good girl.

8. Ryo (Bocchi the Rock)
The entire cast of Bocchi the Rock are all great, but if I had to choose, I would choose Ryo. Not only do I find her more relatable (being an introvert by choice), but she has so many hilarious moments.

10. Anzu (Romantic Killer)
Disheveled gamer girl who also loves chocolate and has no interest in romance, values boundaries and platonic relationships? Sign me up. We need to normalize platonic relationships in media, not everything needs to devolve into romantic shipping.
