4th is Okami bc of it's artistry & whimsical storybook-like tale! everything about it has unique charm that regularly makes me want to come back & re-experience it. it's one of the few games I've bought on several systems, since imo the upgraded graphics alone are worth it :'D
bof 3/4 tie bc both are pretty classic PS1 rpgs whose characters aren't super deep, but have interesting worlds inhabited by a multitude of anthropomorphic races that make up your party, & some customizable skills. 3 leans towards a light tone with a jazz ost and brighter colors,
Wild Arms 3 was one I received as a gift and adore the hell out of! how many fantasty/sci-fi wild west rpgs do you know?? it's not revolutionary in either characters or gameplay, but both are solid fun it uses to tell a interesting story with unique elements.
it has a few adaptations, most notably manga/anime. the anime is fairly faithful & starts out a bit rough but gets better looking as it goes on. the manga is the opposite, though it has some good side volumes featuring cool histories of some main characters & even npcs!
happy 6th anniversary to toz~♥️
(if you haven't already, please read the wonderful manga adaption by Shiramine!)
