🤩 Ban Zhao (49-120CE) was a Chinese historian, philosopher, & politician in the Eastern Han Dynasty. An exemplary scholar, she even tutored the Empress Hexi (81–121CE). She was also a court librarian where she rearranged and enlarged Liu Xiang’s Biographies of Eminent Women.

🧿 1451-1821, Greece was in the Ottoman Empire. On March 25, 1821 Bishop Germanos of Patros raised the flag of revolution over Agia Lavra, a monastery in the Pelopponese. In 1829, the Treaty of Edirne, marked freedom for Greece!
