what i like about the Mario movie in the trailer is that there's a kingdom based on the Penguins from Super Mario 64, which i think is really cool worldbuilding and it's the type of worldbuilding for this franchise i haven't seen since the first 3 Paper Mario games, i love it
i love how @WildBrainStudio has access to ALL these characters and they're not even allowed to use them in Sonic Prime, a show that is tailormade for these guys to return through the multiverse/shatterverse
