As a Righteous Devil, Kalara practices a divine martial art that allows her to fire/reload guns w/ supernatural quickness, call out evil souls to face her judgement, & send souls into their next incarnation. She hasn't learned all of these skills, however, and has a LOT to learn!

Right now, I’m working on two stories, THE UNCRUCIFIED and SONG OF EXILE. Both have a similar aesthetic thread running through them, with SoE being my original Fantasy brainchild that I’ve been poking at for years.

Kalara looks to the phoenix for inspiration. It rises from its own demise, much as she has returned from her own near-execution. The phoenix is also part of her anima aura, which flares when she fully unveils her divine powers.

I'm open to suggestions! A beta reader for my story has told me Kalara gave them NAME OF THE WIND vibes (which I haven't read). I'd love for my chars to have the same larger than life charisma of the chars in THE LIONS OF AL-RASSAN (which I have read & loved).
