So I finally got around to reading vol 1 of Rust Eater Bisco - and it's the best light novel debut I've seen in quite a while. Strong worldbuilding, action, fun characters and some surprisingly great queer rep

It's been a while since we had a proper battle scene in this manga but Bosworth was very well drawn and intense, lots of blood, some fun moments with my boy Richmond to go out on too

The new series from author of Miss Beelzebub - it's part of the "mysterious girl moves in with high school boy" genre, but looks like a pretty cute and wholesome take on it

Flicking through the guides at the end of each book and they look very clear and comprehensive, really useful for people like me who dont know a lot of the cultural context yet
