Review: The Deer King (seen at #SLA2021)

This film is a masterpiece - the best way I can describe it is a mix of Ghibli (especially something like Princess Mononoke), the sardonic dark fantasy of GoT, and all set against the backdrop of how a pandemic affects a medieval society

I almost forgot how Prince Edward is like when he and Rich first meet lol, atleast the anime is capturing that Edward vibe

so we get the first example of the anime censoring stuff... there'll have to be a lot more

(also the PV doesn't give context for this but this scene is more of Catesby restraining Richard rather than anything weird sexually going on)
