A little bit of process insight for the few people who have shown interest in it: Most of the time I can nail my design on the first try (drawing wise and color wise), but sometimes you go from this, to this, to this:

Gawain was the son of Morgeuse, meaning he was a nephew to Arthur and a brother to Mordred. But among the knights it's with his cousin Ywain of the Lion that he goes on adventures with, most frequently.

Knight of the Roundtable Gawain! the legendary knight of the sun, one of, if not THE strongest knight of the roundtable. His strength grew depending on the elevation of the sun. Meaning he would be invincible at noon. His sword Galatine is said to have shared this ability.

Knight of Roundtable, Dagonet is Arthur's court jester. He is often depicted as comical and stupid but it might be to better hide his true nature. Although he was once a proud and formidable knight but lost his mind after killing his best friend for abducting his wife.

Some of you might also have recognized the sword on his belt: Cortana the square pointed sword of Oger the dane one of the paladins!
