@dano_cosmic @RManta82 Okay, just checked. There's a direct reference in the second story in «Citizen Kang» Part 1, "Birth of a Warlord" (from the Captain America Annual), where Kang mentions Doom as his ancestor.

@dano_cosmic They did redesign Sam Alexander to look somewhat closer to Richard, though.
But it's true, even Darkhawk, a hero that barely gets his due attention, got two redesigns in three years.

#XSpoilers In general terms, Doug's translations are verbatim aside from a few differences due to lettering and length. Krakoa has a peculiar speech pattern:

"Well?"

"I acknowledges
and accepts the gift
of the external
gate."

"Really?
That's it?"

"Yes!"

#XSpoilers «X of Swords: Creation» #1 might have inadvertently provided us with a great Rosetta Stone to decipher not only Krakoa's language, but other texts that have showed up before during the DoX, including this same issue.
