Ummm ok TEMPORARY pinned post.. My name is Viltė, I’m from Lithuania ‘n I create art and ocs based around my culture’s folklore and mythology
~~~
I’m a huge fan of baltic and slavic cultures in particular and like to sprinkle in Eastern European motives into my work
My second semester of uni starts tomorrow, here’s one last drawing before im likely p busy. Wanted to kinda conceptualize Laumės son better, because he’s important to the story. Pasha for scale
I will forever rep doing very technical, lackluster lineart and base colors only to overpaint it, its so fun
I woke up just to sketch them out, now im going back to bed
Trying to keep calm by drawing.. this design aint shit, but the ref is coming along
WIP but trying to see if I can turn my humanoids into chibis too
I think this turned out well :) https://t.co/uIv8qAkloS
now, I know what you may be thinking “Vilte!! you can’t give them blonde hair, it doesnt create enough contrast in the design!!” And to that I say.. let me have this
theyre ur uber Walking Buddy
Best part of being an artist is making stupid little creatures that dont make any sense because you FEEL like it
