I found some Japanese Kuretake ink made with this water-soluble dye, a few years back, and discovered it bled like velvet when water was applied. I've been refining the technique ever since... it's a form of inkwash.

And now the giant mystery: I think this next font was commissioned by Scholastic for internal use, because I can't find it anywhere online. It's a blurred/shattered version of Stephen Farrell's equally 90s font "Flexure."

(He also had a font called Osprey, hilariously.)
