Managed to finish a January journal entry on Sunday just in time. So much colour, even at this time of year. Feel free to join me - observing and drawing are good for beating lockdown blues ❄️🌿 #Naturejournalclub
At the coast this morning on Small Blue business. Butterfly habitat planning and stunning scenery make for a rather lovely Friday (even in January) 🦋
A beautiful fox at sunset in the Cheviot hills. I sat watching my local badgers and it ran behind me, off up the hill to find some dinner. #FoxingDay #KeepTheBan
Remnants of summer adorned in winter's finest today. Despite the lack of insect life, there is admittedly something special about a very still and crisp December morning.
I think this is the most beautifully illustrated old botany guide I’ve ever seen #illustrationgoals #wildflowerhour 🌿
Had an excellent day visiting @NtlMuseumsScot to see the beautiful work of Robert Logan - a little known Scottish entomologist. Viewing his original paintings and other specimens has been so useful for my research. Thank you to wonderful @AshWhiffin for helping! #AskACurator 🦋🐛
