Damn it really really hurts to see the studio that made air go through something like this. That was an anime that landed with me like no other. Going to rewatch it again tonight due this. Air is truly a masterpiece in my eyes. I love it so unbelievably much.

Side note. Air is also one of the most criminally underrated and overhated amimes ever. It's a 10 for me. Way better and more unique than Clannad imo. It's so brutal and emotionally impactful. It also has an amazing ost and a very unique style. Fuck this anime is amazing.

With Umineko which may be more popular with western people than eastern. I think it may be due to a lot of diehard 07th fans being westerners. I notice a lot of easterners like 07th expansion due to Higurashi. But they never really get deep into his stuff.

I notice that Higurashi is more popular with eastern people while Umineko is more popular with western people. I thought this was sort of interesting. I could see how Umineko has more western influences though.
