It’d take way too much rambling for a post to fully explain but I feel like Usagi and Rei’s developing friendship is the first season of Sailor Moon’s main through-line and it’s handled incredibly well and is a big reason I love the show so much.

SuperS is a, season but it gave us the episode where Rei's reaction to a little girl who idolizes her but doesn't have any confidence in herself or her dreams is "FUCK THAT REACH FOR THE SKY AND DESTROY ANYONE WHO GETS IN THE WAY OR DOUBTS YOU!" and I legitimately love it lol. :p
