I keep getting bad news about family members in SK so I sat with myself and made these today - i’m feeling very not in my body obviously.

@aaronphilipxo @jayesimpson94, @GwenBenaway and I wouldn’t have the platforms we have without our grandmother Aiyyana Maracle’s work. she passed in 2016 and it’s our work to remember/honour/hold space for the elders and ancestors who made this possible for us to exist in the art world❤️❤️❤️
