The weird Little Red Riding Rat design from the Caltron 6-in-1 hack, Bookyman, isn't fantastic either, but at least it isn't the grotesque blonde purple monkey thing
In other words, I'm starting yet another project, an animated short that I'll probably never finish, in which Rob is taken to futuristic not-Japan and meets these characters, Keiji and Kiyono, the "Robo-Frogs," also known as "Arnold trying to emulate another artstyle and failing"
Internet went down yesterday, so I ended up missing the 22nd anniversary of Q-Boy. Anyway, once again, remake's out at https://t.co/TYEF3d3gNI
Okay, here's the more "obvious" joke, I just went for the Zelda CD-i crossover because I wanted to do something other than low-hanging fruit
Just randomly remembered that there was a Europe-exclusive Flintstones/Jetsons crossover game for CD-i, which, of course, meant I had to make this screenshot from an alternate, horrifying universe where insanity reigns supreme
It's not a law that unlicensed games HAVE to be of little quality. Hell, a few games are almost on par with, or, dare I say it, even surpass some of the licensed stuff. Something like Mega Man for DOS may be licensed, but you couldn't pay me to say it's better than Zook Hero Z.
The original "splash screen" for the Q-Boy remake, which went unused not because the drawings were bad, but because the background was very undetailed and rushed
Two drawings both based around Hummer, for some reason (probably to do with the Dendy fanfilm.)
I think the idea for the second picture was like "haha, what if Hummer got his own show as another way to cash in on Sonic, how crazy would that be, guys"
Also, these two images where the "current" characters meet up with their old counterparts (although Rob doesn't look so "current" anymore).
Correction: Rob was actually "created" in 2016, the 11th of July, instead of 2015 like I claimed. I'm an idiot
