Beat Dragon Quest 5

I liked the ideas this game innovated like monster taming. The story was very nice too, although I didn't like the lack of permanent party members. Ladja was a really cool villain tho, so he kinda carried most of the time.

4/6, solid game.

5. Binding of Isaac Rebirth/AfterBirth/Repentance

Currently my favorite game. There's so much content, it took me 740ish hours to 100% the game, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat if not for my backlog.

I haven't had a game teach me a thoughtful lesson in such a brutal and harsh way since playing this. Gameplay is fine tuned and it serves its purpose.
