Man, I'm sorry that Dija had to go and Ruin Everything (TM) after this cuz this is def up there with some of my favorite moments of the comic.

Dija is seperate from the others cuz foreshadowing (she's also staring at Serin). Also Geb is an enby.

we interrupt this moment of angst with a "WHUHHH?????"

Dija's in shadow while Serin's in light most of this scene and that was deliberate. When there's a hint of mutual understanding, Serin leaves the light and joind Dija in the dark, foreshadowing the stuff that happens in the rest of the comic lol

The fact that Dija bothers to *stop* on her way to find a place to pray and look at what Serin's doing is extremely huge for her. Esp since *consciously* she's still giving him the silent treatment.

Some of my favorite moments in the comic are character moments without dialogue. I love this bit of Dija just putting on a shirt.

the biggest crime my comic has committed is that there aren't NEARLY enough hugs. The heck.
