Our task this week was to paint a still life. We were asked to look at the different techniques and styles other artists used when painting this subject. Aren’t they wonderful?

Task 23 was to produce a piece of artwork based on the theme “Reflections and Distortions”. Members were very inventive painting on tinfoil, using their iPhone to distort images and even taking photos using infra red. We are a very inventive lot !

Task 22 was to produce a picture of an animal, bird or fish using medium that you don’t usually use. Some great pictures ere submitted. Pontefract Art Club, although not open, is proving that we are all still busy being creative.

4 colours only!!! This weeks task was to paint a seascape using only 4 colours. The paintings prove 5hat you don’t need a vast amount of tubes of paint!

Pontefract Art Club’s task this week was to design a textile pattern suitable for a fabric or wallpaper. The designs submitted are certainly good enough to go into production!

MEMORIES were the theme this week for our members. Could be a picture of a holiday, a person or an object. Something that meant a lot to you. As usual our members produced a great selection of work.

The task this week was to paint a still life. Members were given a criteria to work to and the results were brilliant. Well Done to all participants.
