just a quick painting for practice

i asked twitter, instagram and my classmates and it looks like Alien eyes wins. i drew facial expressions and used Stitch from LIlo and stitch as reference for eye expressions. i do like how expressive they are. i can't put my finger on it but this seams really appealing to me.

been experimenting with which eyes to give Alya. left is more human and comforting but right is more unique and alien.

here are some of the textures i'm using in the 0.29 build while i'm working on one more texture map for the ground. i decided use a more painterly style to fit the softer dream aesthetic.
