This sketchbook study was eaten by one of my cats many years ago. Apparently she had a taste for moody things. Either that, or she was an uncompromising art critic.

OLDIE OF THE DAY
A rather dark piece, and perhaps too dark for many. I was going to do a series on The Tulgey Wood, but never did. But I still might. You never know.

OLDIE OF THE DAY...
Once again, another dream-based image. There's no explanation or backstory about this; it just is. (Like most dreams, right?) Although I think it needs one. Very gothicey for me.
"The Mysterious Grove"
black ballpoint & coloured pencil
4" x 7"
OLDIE OF THE DAY...
A piece I discovered in my 'Flat Files of Yore'. I used to do a lot of ink pieces where I added monochromatic colour using coloured pencil and/or pastel.
Have been longing to revive that practice lately.
"October Dusk" black ballpoint & coloured pencil
