I realized last night as I was sketching that I need to do more art featuring nautiluses (nautili?). Surely that's an easy goal that 2020 can't sabotage...right? (RIGHT?!)
Feels like I have a bajillion things going on which hasn't left a lot of time for posting online, but one thing I'm happy about is that I finally redesigned my website to better show the detail in my work: https://t.co/9vtMwQM7zH

Here is a fun comparison of how this piece has continued to evolve since its first iteration as a questionably executed oil painting in early 2018, through a digital rework in 2019, and now its (hopefully, definitely) final form in 2020. #artprocess #wip

Sometimes I miss having pets, especially snakes. They really are magnificent creatures and too often get a bad rap. Maybe someday I can become a crazy 75-year old snake lady, but in the meantime, I'll have to settle for working them into this painting. #lizardlove #wip #snakes
Might try to finally finish this painting as I sit here listening to some Geto Boys. Maybe I should paint a broken printer in somewhere. 🤔

“Verna”. 2020. What started out as a simple attempt to honor the coming of spring quickly evolved into a meditation on new beginnings and the anxiety that often tags along with them even in the best of times. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! #digitalart #painting
Spring has sprung at last. I do wish I could go for walks more to enjoy the flowers. Guess it's finally time to stop putting off working on the garden in the backyard 🌻
