Quick edit to show sub adult/ Non dominant Male. Very similar to the Females but with scanty layer of Filoplumes and larger nasal bulge as they are significantly more vocal. Yellower iris and waxy red caruncle around the eye.

A Female Great Gold Griffin, Hen or Griffiness.

Smaller but much feistier than the Males, they hunt prey in groups on the wing. They are endurance specialists, driving their prey items over vast distances until they are too tired or are penned in by terrain, then strike.
