What's a series u almost began to dislike because of a community?

For me it was Fire Emblem and Xenoblade.

Fire Emblem fans can't just appreciate the series and all the games.

Xenoblade community only likes one or 2 and will fight over each one constantly.

In all the art Veronica and Alfonse are holding eachother
I wonder if this is symbolic to thier current relationship? Makes me wonder what exactly is thier connection to eachother and I think like with Bruno and Xander Veronica has developed some attachment to Alfonse someway.
