Hello everyone! Hope you guys are faring well. Going to start a digital art course next saturday. On a further note have a free practise sketch I made.

@onetruejohndoe Hey man! I need to know about your workflow. Do you outline 3D models in a program and then use the light casting as a reference? Or instead, do you sketch a line-art paint greytones and use your own light source from mind?
If its the latter, how do you do it?

Finally, I studied using references and practised using a hard brush technique to paint. This sketch piece was with a single layer.

I tried limiting myself to a range of hues and values, making sure my hues are desaturated so I can implement shades and highlights!

I really worked hard on the face though. I may need to change the levels on the piece as I go.

Well, thanks to @rags_zombie or @RAGS_NEWS, I only draw girls with red hair now. Thanks, RAGS team...
