This is a breed of chicken called the Salmon Favorelle. They have cute beards, fuzzy legs, and extra toes! I have two little chicks of this breed and they already have tiny mutton chops 🥺😍

It was 5 years ago today that I started pushing more simplified shape in my sighthound drawings, inspired by art deco sculptures. This was the beginning of my “swirly hound” style and those teardrop shapes remain!

I had no idea #AnimalArtistsUnite was a thing but omg what an incredible tag to browse! Here’s my contribution of long and pointy hounds 🥰

Some recent #Snootober drawings! I’m having fun incorporating some of the sketch lines in the final line work.

Oil paints are hard 🙈 I can see what I want to fix and change, but I’m not at that point in knowing the medium where I can just intuitively change things and 🌈difficult🌈
