@SleepeaTea @Aliiwa Personally I do lightly shade my refs because my pieces look incredibly off otherwise. Thing is I absolutely don't care if someone messes up the markings. They're supposed to capture the "vibe" and general similarity of the character - imo matters more than markings.
warm//cold
hopefully you can see a little of their son in them
need a breather for now because trying to draw the dad made me want to quit art /hj
WIP of the family pic. Castor's mom, a white lioness.
ALSO the first female character I've drawn since I was like 15.
She's based on my own wonderful mom (as opposed to his dad who's next to nothing like mine, it's for the better)
It's weird how it was such a little sketch yet it changed so much.
Art from before then > after with Castor as an example.
Old ass doodle of Sam where I was experimenting with mixing features and whatnot.
Some of you might just know which scene was the ref for this initially
Pizzacat YCH from @Felinarius and @RogueLiger - loved these guys' art styles for ages and I've been dying to get a commission ever since, this was so worth the wait! Just look at him.
@ConjureCreature This was mine... I redrew and sold him as an adopt 10 yrs later. He was called Nightclaw... ouch the cringe
@ChaiKatx Oh damn the examples are exclusively female, hope ya don't mind my guy. Thanks for the opportunity
