Today's update, got most of the shading done on his back&right arm + initial markings drawn out. Gonna have to get the hair out of the way somehow, but we'll think about it later.

Asterion ref progress thread! It's a big project so why not.
Got a little done on the back view today. This is how the front view looked at some point too - my process is weird.

Okay, last post regarding this. Started getting up early, and I have a couple of hours each morning before the puppy gets up. Should I start off with fleshing out this guy? Wanted to draw him some more.
I could also plan out my spinosaurus' design or finish Aster's reference...

It's called evolution, I guess. Couldn't get any worse than the original.
As a bonus, I discovered I have to change his ENTIRE FACIAL STRUCTURE on top of all this because he still looks a shit ton like the original source material.
(PS. the crooked teeth are a character trait)
