It's no wonder that, of the 10 or so Russian characters he holds dear, his favorite would be Vostok X, a former cosmonaut working with an international team and with a deep fear of human contact.
The comparison is too strong to even mention.
And finally, The Carpet Merchant of Konstantiniyya by @reimenayee.
I say I edit this comic, but for volume 1 I was mostly a copyeditor. The incredible artwork, masterful panels and likeable characters that weave a unique story? That was all 100% Rei. And it's so, sooo good.
Something that indie titles should learn more from: a half-told story with mystery elements, if combined with easily sortable houses or visual identifiers, is an incredibly efficient way to drive fan-involvement.
Entire franchises have been built around this concept.
I'm currently open to editorial commissions ^^ I specialize in webcomics, but I also work with prose and most other forms of narrative mediums. DM me for rates~
Examples of my editorial work include The Carpet Merchant of Konstantiniyya by @reimenayee and Camellia by @ladypcpx.
