I took my son to his first MLB game at one month. 16 years later, he loves watching AND playing sports. @reggiebrownart and I are so excited to show you these books that capture the awe little ones have when they watch a game...and the joy of realizing that THEY can play too!
Daughter and her BFF chose these two books to be the first books for their brand new book club.
MAY SAVES THE DAY is out in the world today! This book is a celebration of words, teamwork, and girl power. I hope you will check it out at your local bookstore or library. And help us celebrate our book birthday by reading a great book today! That's my plan (and ice cream)!
These two gorgeous books would pair beautifully together for talking to kids about carrying on family traditions even after beloved family members are gone.
Some books I'm excited to share a book birthday with! Congratulations @CarrieFinison, @briannefarley, @NCastaldoAuthor, and Ginnie Hsu!
Everyone loves a full moon...except a little ninja who doesn't want her friends to find out she's a werewolf. THE NINJA CLUB SLEEPOVER is out tomorrow!
I love when kids make up their own Peep and Egg book titles, using the "I'm Not__________" structure. This morning I heard this one from a 4-year-old: "I'm not sweeping, because if I sweep, I will die." I could totally relate. 😂
I love pointing people toward indie bookstores, but I just found out DIBS! is only $3.95 (!!!) on Amazon right now. So if you are on a tight budget or looking for a new #classroombookaday title, check it out:

One of the best parts of writing BABY ASTRONAUT was researching the real science experiments that astronauts do in space and deciding which to include in the book. Since I included a plant-growing experiment, I was particularly interested in this article: https://t.co/5F8NmciCDb
